The hosts and their staff could not have been more welcoming. The went to every effort to make us comfortable and helped with the elderly relatives and their poor mobility. The evening meal was excellent and I would most definitely stay there again.
Could improve on choice of beers which was limited but real ale was well kept.

Very welcoming staff, and the food was superb.
Furniture could do with a little modernising. But this is really nitpicking, as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The locals in the bar were friendly.
The evening dinner was appalling and the place is ridiculously overpriced for what is, basically, a B&B in the middle of nowhere.

I found the staff, room and food very good. It is certainly in a good position for those wishing to visit Bath.

The hotel is in beautiful countryside SW of Bath. Our room was large and the staff friendly. We had good meals including a filling breakfast. There is a comfortable lounge / bar popular with guests and locals. One warning though: be careful approaching through the narrow, twisty lanes. We've stayed several times and have been happy to return.

Peaceful, clean, friendly. Close to Bath and Bristol. A full length mirror and somewhere to sit and see yourself when doing makeup and hair which many hotels lack.
.The 9.00am deadline for breakfast was too early especially at weekends and checkout at 10.30 is a bit early. too.

Nice beds. Good breakfast.
Very high price for a hotel of this category. Owner trying to have you pay as much as he can. Shower very thin.

Very clean, friendly, efficiently run to a high standard. Not suitable for those who like peace and quiet of the countryside. Good quality food also.
For those who need a dark room like my family, an improvement would be to either add a dark blind at the window or attach blackout curtains. Although pale coloured curtains set the room off well, we wake up so early and hence are tired for the rest of the day.
